At the corner of 12th Street and Avenue A in New York City in the year 2002 you might have caught a distant glow of blue in one of the windows up above. What could it be? Peer a little closer and you realize it is the blue glow of a neon sign...

I have no explanation. This appeared in The Village Voice as their 'Inexplicable Window of 2002", and I am sure you agree. Is there a relationship with the strutting yellow neon 'cock' in the street level window below? Questions that remain unanswered.
