Polar Bear Chase. Sure It's All Funny Now...

These images came in via e-mail and I am not sure where they were taken other than obviously up north! Possibly Alaska, Northern Canada, maybe even Europe or Russia.Do you ever wonder if those photographers taking pictures of wild animals find themselves in danger? If being chased around an old red pickup truck by a Polar Bear qualifies as dangerous, than the answer is yes.


Most wild animals are seriously fast which makes me wonder if the bear were not just playing with the man. Surely he could catch him if he wished. Still, some animals do play with their food!


Running behind another pickup truck, that will surely confuse the bear. Right... It's a shame the bear might eat the man as he is just so cute. As Polar Bears go I don't believe he is one of the more massive ones. As Polar Bears go.


Peek-a-boo!While the bear stretches to see over the truck keep in mind that someone was photographing this little game. The e-mail asked why the friend just took pictures and didn't help. The e-mail did not clarify exactly what kind of "help" this might be.


Better make a break for it sir, the bear seems to be a little bit distracted. Also, remove all of those Snicker's Bars and beef jerkey treats from your pockets.


Back toward the red truck again. How long did this go on? Did the man get out of this hairy situation alive? Robot Nine has no answer for these questions. All we can do is file it in the "It's funny now but it wasn't when it was happening" file.
