Urban Camouflage Bizarre Art Project With Video!

Photobucket
This is exactly the sort of art project and/or social experiment that Robot Nine loves.
These artists created a camouflage suit based on those droppy green military outfits, but thiese were composed of common articles you might find in a typical retail setting.

Photobucket
After shuffling throught the retail outlet in a suit made of paper folders the artist attempts to 'camouflage' himself in the bin of dicounted paper folders. I can only imagine what it must feel like to walk through a public venue with this getup on.

Photobucket
Getting into the bin seems to be proving a bit difficult, probably a slippery climb into his paper folder office supply nest? I don't know what these folders are used for or why they are displayed so haphazardly but I can imagine the manager and stock clerk will not be happy with the Urban Camouflage crew!

Photobucket
No, he didn't give up and lay on the floor. This was just another camouflage techniqu, being a mess on the side of a display. In the video that follows he is in and around the display.

How interesting.
Don not fail to notice the very lame background music as Urban Camouflage does there thing. Funny how everybody that sees the pile of folders moving kind of looks and walks away. Nobody questions of investigates the costumed artist.
I was dissapointed that no company stooge appears from nowhere to question the artist. While they might have a genuine concern about climbing in the display, would they try and eject the artist from the store for wearing paper folders? Why? People wear clothes bought at the store and go back to shop?
Don't be a clothesist!

In a different retail store the artist is wearing his costume of trash boxes. This one should be easy to make at home kids, so have a go at Urban Camouflage yourselves.

Photobucket
The lady in pink is thinking that if she concentrates on that ceiling tile hard enough the mysterious man of old boxes will go away and leave her alone.

I love the woman at the end of this video, how she looks up, sees the boxes arise like a mummy in some old classic horror movie, and just quietly turns around and goes in the other direction.
