Three varieties of wood were used and some were sharpened, others dulled down. Various lengths of toothpick added to the depth of the art.

How many times have you looked around the house for a toothpick and couldn't find one. Saimir had them all!

When finished the work was 86.11 square feet in size and acknowledged by Guinness as the World's Largest Toothpick Mosaic!
With nails!

Nails had to hammered to varying depths and the way they overlapped needed to be planned in advance.

All of the artisit's mosaics have been compared to digital images. Instead of a million pixels of light in varying colors forming a picture these artworks use... other things.

Corks make this a seriously large scale project requiring not just time and planning, but also scaffolding.

It sucks when you drop just the right cork! Especially if world political leaders are visiting as happened on numerous occasion during this project. One of the visitors was his Albania's Prime Minister, Sali Berisha
Guess what? Correct, another Guinness for World's Largest Cork Mosaic.
