Homer Simpson Pranks The Famous Cernes Giant. (3 Images)

You have probably seen a picture of the 180 foot tall Cernes Abbey Giant that ancient peoples carved into a hillside in England.
We ran across some interesting images you may not have seen.


Articles always tell you that the figure is made of 12 inch wide tranches, that he is 180 feet tall, that the club is a 120 foot "knobbed" club. They always cleverly skirt the issue of the most important measurement.
Robot Nine has used high-tech devices (lined paper as a ruler) and we can report it is 42 feet long!


We wonder why this particular spot has not become more of a photo op, curled up amongst those rounded bushes.

To promote the 'Simpsons' movie producers had this 180 foot tall Homer Simpson painted on the hillside next to the Cernes Giant. They used biodegradable paint, nevertheless local "neo-pagans" complained and said magic rain prayers.
When did those neo-pagans become so darn humorless?
