Santa Claus And His Wild And Crazy Adult Advertising Forays

It is little known that Santa Claus has consistently sold his fame and prestige over the years as a spokesman for a variety of more adult products.
He has been the face of Pall-Mall cigarettes...

and Lucky Strike.
Apparently he is quite the fan of smoking, and any smoker reading this knows what goes great with a cigarette.

Coffee, loaded with caffeine and sugar.

Later in the day though, after the toy factory has been shut down, maybe it's time to kick back a few with the elves.

Of course a dash of whiskey in the old ginger ale really helps to take the edge off of making billions of toys each year.

Later, Santa apparently picks up things for the ladies on eBay. Santa, you the pimp.

In the late 80's Santa encouraged all us elves to play safe by creating a life size condom Santa. Now that's a traffic stopper in your suburban Christmas display!

Santa also has a small surprise for all you naughty boys and girls, and slacker elves running around crying about wanting to be a dentist.

OK, stop the anger, it was a good song, but along with Springsteen's 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town', hearing this one every 12 minutes has ruined it for me.
And do I really have to like it just because he is Hispanic and blind?

Right out of the popular music mold, but so crass, an anthem to materialism.
Forget a partridge in a pear tree, this Christmas isn't complete until he gives you a Mercedes!
It's good to see the world has turned it's back on the Beyonce machine for once.

I'll only say nobody should try to follow Nat King Cole, especially helium voiced rodents.

Surely this sentiment from such a prima donna is the single most insincere thing you will hear this season.
Unfortunately if you listen to Christmas radio you may hear it every half-hour.
Bummer.

Now truthfully, Gwen Stefani is in my every dream.
I LOVE her, LOVE HER!
Don't tell Gavin but those two children are the love children of Gwen and I.
But this song, it's just too much, too fast, too loud.

Cyndi Lauper's 'Christmas Conga'

I couldn't finish listening to it.

Why did this song rate a movie?
It's so dreary, so miserably and intentionally depressing.
I can see the singers and producer in the studio rubbing their hands together and smiling over the idea of the consumers of treacle and pap buying multiple copies for their little nephews and nieces!
The kid wants some shoes to give his mom who is going to die so she will look good for Jesus!

This video shows the winner of "Ukraine’s Got Talent", Kseniya Simonova, 24, drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II.
Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch.

The images, projected onto a large screen, moved many in the audience to tears and she won the top prize of about £75,000.

She begins by creating a scene showing a couple sitting holding hands on a bench under a starry sky, but then warplanes appear and the happy scene is obliterated.

It is replaced by a woman’s face crying, but then a baby arrives and the woman smiles again. Once again war returns and Miss Simonova throws the sand into chaos from which a young woman’s face appears.

She quickly becomes an old widow, her face wrinkled and sad, before the image turns into a monument to an Unknown Soldier.

This outdoor scene becomes framed by a window as if the viewer is looking out on the monument from within a house.

In the final scene, a mother and child appear inside and a man standing outside, with his hands pressed against the glass, saying goodbye.

The Great Patriotic War, as it is called in Ukraine, resulted in one in four of the population being killed with eight to 11 million deaths out of a population of 42 million.

Kseniya Simonova says:
"I find it difficult enough to create art using paper and pencils or paintbrushes, but using sand and fingers is beyond me. The art, especially when the war is used as the subject matter, even brings some audience members to tears. And there’s surely no bigger compliment."

While assembling this story we ran across another video of Kseniya performing.

Just so you know it's Robot Nine here, the art is incredible and the performance astounding, but we also noticed Kseniya is HOT!
Strangely there is another Kseniya Simonova who is Miss Russia 2008, gorgeous, and apparently a different person.
No wonder those Russian mail order brides are so popular!
