Retired truck driver Teri Horton bought a painting for only $5 in a thrift shop and now believes it to be an original by Jackson Pollack. When told the painting might be a Pollack, Horton's salty question was "Who the #$&% is Jackson Pollock?" , which became the title of a documentary telling her story. Seems the official art world was initially concerned about the lack of provenance, or history, of the work and they have declared the painting a fake. Horton hired her own expert who claims the painting contains Pollack's fingerprints. Her expert also was charged with fraud a few years back! To top it off some of the art world officials have offered her several million for the work. Horton told them to kiss off, that she would burn it first, as other Pollacks have sold for up to 140 million! Did I say the million would come easy? Oops.
